Samoa journo engages more in online journalism

Jasmine Netzler works for the Samoa Observer News Group reporting on general issues occurring within the country, Pacific as well as international news content. The S.O.N.G a few yeas now has established Facebook and Twitter accounts disseminating news contents published on its daily newspaper. It is part of the organisations move forward to draw more readers to its news contents following the industry’s move into the digital world to cater to the needs of is readers. Being one of eleven journalists from five countries attending the Asia Pacific Journalism Centre fellowship program called Women, Media and Economic Literacy in the Pacific based in Melbourne focusing on various issues including leadership roles for women in the media, self development and online journalism.
